Ever since I’ve been through a serious health scare, I have turned to healthier living and better nutrition. As far as I can see there is nothing better than fresh fruit and vegetables in your diet, and fresh juices are simply magic potions full of vitamins and minerals. Vegetable juices are in particular important, as they contain various minerals and enzymes that affect your overall metabolism and your body’s ability to absorb other nutrients. Fruits are great too, but tend to have lots of sugar so if you want to have more than a glass of fresh juice a day, I would recommend you do that with vegetable juices. To make vegetable juice you really need a power juicer. Even if you are alone and making drinks only for one person it is just too hard to do anything else other than use a power juicer.
My juicer can handle most things although it is not too good with citrus fruit, and a separate juicer is a better solution. Depending on your budget and the amount of juice you are planning to prepare every day, I would still recommend a power version of a citrus juicer rather than the manual variety. Although I believe for small amounts a manual one will be quite adequate. Juicing is very important to a healthy diet. It is important to consume fresh juice, some suggest you can keep it in a fridge overnight if you need to do that, I would recommend you keep it in an air-tight container to maximize its nutritional value.
